Dr. Michael J. Causey​

   

    Dr. Michael J. Causey is a board-certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care.  These services include comprehensive eye exams, contact lense fittings, treating infections, abrasions, and foreign body removals. He also evaluates for cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic eye problems. Diabetic patients will have a diabetic eye exam report sent to their doctor to better care for their condition.

    Dr. Causey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida (USF) in 1986.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1991.  Dr. Causey is also certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry.

    Dr. Causey has previously worked on staff at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami as well as St. Lukes' Cataract and Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs, FL. He enjoys biking, fishing, and most outdoor activities. He and his wife, Sherry, live in his home town of New Port Richey.
